Getting started
How Parafoil works
- Connect your work calendar. Parafoil reads your calendar so it knows which meetings are coming up and who is in them. Google Calendar and Outlook are both supported.
- Install the desktop app. Parafoil runs on Mac and Windows. The app analyzes your meetings from your own computer, so there is no bot joining the call.
- Lead your meetings as usual. Nothing changes for the people you meet with.
- Get your feedback. After each meeting you get private feedback on how you led, with specific actions to try next time.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a work account to use Parafoil?
Yes. Parafoil is built for managers inside organizations, so sign up with your work email and work calendar. That's how Parafoil finds your 1:1s and team meetings. A personal account can't see your work meetings, so there would be nothing to analyze.
Does Parafoil work with Outlook?
Yes. Parafoil works with Google Calendar and Outlook calendars. See Integrations for the full list.
Can I use Parafoil on Windows?
Yes. There are desktop apps for Mac and Windows. Both analyze meetings on your own computer, with no bot in the call.
Which meetings does Parafoil work with?
Parafoil works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Because the desktop app runs on your own computer, it doesn't depend on the meeting platform's cloud features, and nobody sees a Parafoil bot join.
What do I see during a meeting?
The desktop app shows whether Parafoil is analyzing. You can choose Start Analyzing or Stop Analyzing at any time, or pause for a while. When you stop, Parafoil doesn't analyze that part of the meeting.
Our team already uses a note-taker. Do we need the desktop app?
Parafoil can also work from note-takers your team already uses, including Fathom, Fireflies and Granola. See Integrations.
