How to connect Zoom
Parafoil reads meetings you hosted on Zoom that were saved to the cloud with an audio transcript, and gives you private feedback on how you led them. Cloud recording is part of Zoom’s paid plans.
Adding the app
- Sign up at parafoil.co/sign-up, or sign in if you already have an account.
- During setup, choose Zoom, then Connect and Bring Them In. If you’re already set up, go to Settings > Integrations and choose Sign in with Zoom. By connecting, you confirm the people in these meetings know you use Parafoil to analyze them.
- Zoom asks you to allow Parafoil. Choose Allow, and Zoom sends you back to Parafoil.
Usage
- Parafoil lists your 10 most recent meetings with transcripts from the last 30 days. Untick any you’d rather keep out, then bring in the rest. A meeting you untick is never brought in.
- Parafoil analyzes each meeting and shows you what it found. Only you see it.
- New meetings stay out until you say yes. Parafoil asks after your first read, or turn on Bring in new meetings automatically in Settings > Integrations. Choose Sync now to check straight away.
Removing the app
- In Parafoil, go to Settings > Integrations and choose Disconnect next to Zoom. Tick the box if you also want to delete the meetings it brought in, with their transcripts and everything Parafoil found in them.
- Or, in Zoom, open the App Marketplace, go to Manage > Added Apps and remove Parafoil. That disconnects it in Parafoil too.
- Meetings already in Parafoil stay until you delete them in Settings > Meetings.
